It serves global cuisine and fusion food that takes it’s inspiration from around the world.

The cuisine ranges from indian, asian and european.

The food menu is a interesting mix of soup, salads, appetizers, mains and desserts. It includes pizzas as well.

The bar menu offers international classics along with house favorite cocktails inspired by local flavours.

So here is what I had –

COCKTAILS :-
image

THE SMOKEY CHOCOLATE MARTINI –
Vodka, kahlua and whiskey based cocktail made with chocolate syrup/cream/cinnamon and shaved white chocolate.

image

BLUEBERRY OLD FASHIONED –
Bourbon whiskey infused with rosemary than muddled with blueberry/angostura and coffee caviar.

Sweetness was right and so was the alcohol level, both the cocktails were super strong n punchy !

SOUP :-

TENDER COCONUT & GANANGAL –
Coconut milk broth soup made with finely chopped broccoli/carrots/mushrooms/baby corn/bird eye chillies/ganangal and chilli oil.
Extremely comforting, soothing coconut milk with mild thai flavours…. lovely !!
Must try !!

SALAD :-

DECONSTRUCTED CAESAR –
Lettuce/cherry tomatoes and fried capers tossed in a creamy caesar dressing.
Garnished with shaved parmesan cheese.
Served with toasted garlic bread.
A well made classic, fried capers and sharp parmesan lifted it’s flavours !

APPETIZERS :-

DILLI FISH CHILLI –
Batter fried basa/onions and bell peppers tossed with ginger/garlic/chillies/chat masala and soya sauce.
Served with fried noodles.
The fish was spicy n garlicky, fried noodles gave the much needed crunch .
Extremely delicious !!
Must try !!

CORN & MUSHROOMS TART SHELL –
Black pepper flavoured tarts filled with golden corn/sauteed mushrooms/brown onions and goat cheese.
The shortcrust pastry was absolutely thin, literally melted in the mouth.
Creamy sharp goat cheese with sweet caramelized onions made the mushroom taste amazing !!
Must try !!

PARMESAN & BLACK PEPPER TART –
Black pepper flavoured tarts filled with paneer bhurji and parmesan cheese.
The paneer bhurji was delicately spiced, parmesan cheese gave a nice flavour to the tarts.

DIM SUMS –
image

– DILL CHICKEN
– TRIO MUSHROOMS
– CORN & ROASTED GARLIC
– SPINACH & WATERCHESNUT

The dimsums were really nice, they had a thin rice and potato flour outer and a delicious generous amount of fillings.
The accompaniments of in house made sweet chilli sauce made of chillies, roasted garlic and peanuts was outstanding !

MAINS :-
image

MUSTARD THYME GRILLED CHICKEN –
Chicken breast marinated with chillies/thyme and mustard, grilled to perfection.
Drizelled with pepper mushrooms jus.
Served with beetroot mash and pesto sauteed veggies.
The in house made jus had a really nice flavour, thyme was used in the right proportion, it did not over power the chicken.
It served as a complete meal for one !

DESSERTS :-

NUTTY CHOCOLATE BROWNIE FUDGE –
Layered white and dark chocolate brownie with almonds and pralines.
Served with vanilla ice cream.
The brownie was moist and super chocolaty, tasted delicious with the cool ice cream.

Overall, Lord of the Drinks lives up to it’s name….their cocktails are groovy and food is extremely delicious, though being made to savour the indian palate, it does justice to it’s origin.
I had a great time relishing their specialities !

Service was quick and courteous.

Go try indulge !
