Pranzi is a retro lounge located at Khar.
The chic rustic ambiance restaurant serves European, Mediterranean and middle Eastern cuisines along with Sheesha.
So here is what I had –
SOUP :-
WILD MUSHROOM CAPPUCCINO –
Thick mushroom soup with a hint of coffee and truffle oil .
Served with garlic bread.
Warm and comforting soup !!
APPETIZERS :-
WILD MUSHROOM PHYLLO WRAP –
Thin phyllo sheet puffs stuffed with sauteed mushrooms.
Served with harissa sauce.
Crispy yet melt in your moist texture puffs !!
CHICKEN SHEESH TAOUK –
Boneless chicken chunks marinated with middle eastern spices, grilled to perfection.
Served with labneh and tabbouleh.
The chicken was moist n juicy, parsley tabbouleh was fantastic !!
GRYOS –
Pita bread stuffed with chickpea patty/ french fries/tomato-onion salad/tzatziki/harissa sauce.
Well made, the chickpea patty was flavourful , harissa sauce complimented it well.
PIZZA :-
CHICKEN SAMAMI PIZZA –
Thin crust pizza topped with chicken salami/jalapenos and basil.
The pizza was fantastic, absolutely thin crust, flavourful tomato sauce and adequate toppings.
SIZZLER :-
CHICKEN HAMBURGER STAKE –
Minced chicken patty, drizelled with mushroom pepper sauce.
Served with french fries/grilled veggies and cheese.
The sizzler was huge, the minced chicken patty had a beautiful layer of melted cheese that made it extremely delicious, veggies like bok choy, zucchini and bell peppers added freshness .
DESSERT :-
PANNA COTTA –
Italian dessert well made !!
Rich and cremy, extremely delicious !!
Overall, Pranzi is a fantastic option to savor delicious food with a beautiful ambiance and of course Sheesha !
The food is relatively on the authentic side and I personally love it when world classics are dealt with care and passion !
