Crave is a all day casual dining restaurant located at Churchgate, Mumbai.
The well lit colourful restaurant serves comfort food like pizza, pasta, burger, sandwiches, hot dog, soup, salad and desserts.
The brand maybe new for some but it has been there at prabhadevi for a long time.
Crave is best known for its amazing variety of freshly made stone baked pizza.
So here is what I had –
CREAM OF MUSHROOM –
Mushroom puree soup, enriched with cream and seasoned with black pepper.
Really nice and comforting, mild seasoning of black pepper was apt.
BALSAMIC VINAIGRETTE –
Arugula and lettuce leaves salad with onion, cherry tomatoes, baby potatoes and feta cheese, dressed in a balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
The salad was delicious, sourness of balsamic was beautifully balanced with the richness of feta.
HOT DOG :-
FRANK FEST –
Long bun filled with chicken sausage, onion, tomato salsa, mustard and mayo.
The hot dog was surprisingly delicious, the bun was light and soft, chicken was juicy and addition of sour spicy tomato salsa gave a new dimension to the flavour.
FUNGI TOWN –
Toasted bun stuffed with mushroom ricotta cheese patty, caramelized onions, tomatoes, cheddar cheese and truffle mayo.
Really nice, the mushroom patty with cheese was brilliant, caramelized onions added a wonderful hint of sweetness.
BOUNTY HUNTER –
Thin crust pizza topped with bbq chicken, artichokes, bell peppers and paprika.
The pizza was baked in a stone base oven, the dough and pizza sauce were prepared in house. What really made this pizza stand out was the flavour coming from the homemade spicy barbecue sauce.
FLOURLESS CHOCOLATE CAKE –
Gooey chocolate cake made with dark chocolate, served with vanilla ice cream.
The chocolate cake had a melt in your mouth texture and the right amount of sweetness. It tasted sinful with vanilla ice cream.
Overall, I had a great time.
Crave is a fantastic option to savour comfort food made in a relatively healthy manner.
The freshness of food stands out !
Service was quick and polite.
