B is a luxurious lounge located at Juhu, Mumbai.

It has one of the most stunning ambiance i have come across in recent times.

Magnificently done up, the lounge has glass wall garden, open to the sky glass ceiling, velvet couches, elegant chandeliers and glowing marble tables. All this gives it a ultra chic look.

The food menu at B is a mix of global cuisine. One gets to savour the best from around the world, it includes European, Middle Eastern and Asian.

It even has a well stocked bar with indian imported wines and spirits.

So here is what I had –

SOUP :-

SEA FOOD –
A mixed seafood broth soup with tomato puree. The seafood was a mix of clams, squids, prawns and fish.
The broth had a beautiful flavour of black pepper and fresh basil.
Tasted absolutely delicious.

SALADS :-

BURRATA TOMATO & GRAPE –
Chilled burrata salad with heirloom tomatoes, grapes and black olive dust and micro greens.
The burrata was creamy, the micro greens had a light citrusy dressing, tasted nice with the tarty tomatoes.

APPETIZERS :-

CHIPS AND DIPS –
Fried banana, orka, lotus stem and potato chips, served with edmame dip.
Sprinkled with chaat masala and cayenne pepper.
A perfect bar nibble, extremely crispy and tantalizing.

TRUFFLE FLATBREAD –
Flatbread topped with boconcini cheese, black truffle, cherry tomatoes and arugula.
Drizzled with aged balsamic vinaigrette.
Extremely delicious, the flatbread was extremely thin and crispy, one gets a beautiful aroma of truffle oil and leaves you satisfied !

BAKED BRIE –
Toasted baguette topped with warm brie cheese, figs, jam, chicken, rocket leaves and truffle oil. Served with house salad.
Brie is a french soft cheese, went really well with crispy baguette.

SEMOLINA CRURTED FISH –
Grouper fish fillet balls coated with semolina, deep fried to perfection. Served on a bed of romesco sauce and topped with picked starfruit.
The fish ball coating was absolutely crispy, went really well with red pepper romesco sauce.

PRAWNS AND OLIVES KEBAB –
Prawns marinated and sauteed with feta cheese, oilve oil, lime and fresh herbs.
Served with cous cous.
The prawns were succulent, the marination was mild and subtle, tasted absolutely delicious with pomogranate cous cous.

DIM SUMS :-

– TRUFFLE AND EDMAME

– ‚ÄéCHICKEN

The dim sums were nice, they were made using rice starch outers and were served with chilli garlic and tomato dip.

MAINS :-

BLACK KING FISH –
Pan seared fish fillet served on a bed of garlic sauteed spinach and veggies, topped with onion cheese fondue.
The fish was perfectly cooked, it tasted delicious with the sweetish cheesy cream sauce. I even loved the baby carrots added in the veggies.

DESSERTS :-

CAMPFIRE STORIES –
Dark chocolate espuma, smores, graham, chocolate brownie, rice crispies, mint semifredo and dark chocolate sauce.

BERRY MUCH –
Red velvet sponge, baked cheesecake, strawberry compote, raspberry sorbet, candy floss and marinated strawberries.

Both the desserts were a stellar. Brilliantly made and conceptualised. If one likes chocolate they should try campfire stories.
If one likes citrusy flavours the berry much will blow you away with its raspberry sorbet.

Overall, B is spectacular !
The lounge is a must visit for its gorgeous ambiance and delicious food.
Service is warm and polite.
