Copper Chimney is a iconic north indian cuisine restaurant located at Worli, Mumbai.

Started over four decades ago and still going strong, Copper Chimney offers a variety of traditional indian kebabs, curries, biryanis, indian breads and desserts.

They also have a elaborate bar that offers indian – imported spirits and indian spices infused cocktails.

So here is what I had –

MOCKTAILS :-

MASALA COLA –
Soda and coke mixed with kala khatta syrup, black salt and lime.
Sweet n tangy… Refreshing !!

SOUP :-

AB-HAYAT –
Coconut milk soup with carrots, french beans and finely chopped coconut
Mildly seasoned with black pepper, extremely soothing to the palate.

APPETIZERS :-

KADAK RUMALI –
Crispy rumali roti drizelled with chilli butter masala.
Served with chaat masala tossed onion and tomatoes.
A signature item in the menu, it’s crispy buttery and tangy, can’t go wrong !!

PANEER TIKKA –
Cottege cheese chunks marinated with tandoori spices and yogurt, grilled to perfection.
The cottage cheese was extremely soft, the mild seasoning of turmeric was blissful.

VEG SEEKH KEBAB –
Minced veggies mixed with indian spices, grilled on tandoor.
The seekh kebab was extremely delicious, it also had crushed cottage cheese and cashews which worked in its favour.

RESHMI KEBAB –
Chicken chunks marinated with cream and white pepper, grilled to perfection.
The chicken was tender and soft, seasoning was extremely mild, Nice !!

ACHARI CHICKEN TIKKA –
Chicken chunks marinted with pickling spices, grilled to perfection.
Really nice, super spicy and tangy.
The pickle flavour was bang on !!

LAL MIRCH JHINGA –
Prawns marinated with red chilli powder, ajwain and garlic, grilled with butter.
The prawns were fresh and extremely juicy, garlic butter and red chilli flavour made it delicious.

MAIN COURSE :-

SIGNATURE CHICKEN BHARTA –
Shredded chicken tossed in a tomato gravy with signature spices, green chillies and coriander.
Garnished with boiled egg.
The tomato curry was silky smooth, balanced in its spices, tasted delicious with pudhina laccha paratha.

PRAWNS TAWA BIRYANI –
Long grained saffron soaked basmati rice tossed with prawns and indian spices.
The biryani had a nice flavour of whole indian spices, prawns were succulent.

DESSERTS :-

MALAI PHIRNI –
Crushed indian rice pudding flavoured with cardamom, served chilled in a earthen pot.
Right amount of sweetness, extremely satisfying.

Overall, Copper Chimney offers one of the best north indian delicacies in Mumbai.
Food is well spiced, flavourful and delicious.
Even their service is quick and polite.
