Bombay Bronx is a Resto-Bar located Breach Candy, Mumbai.
Quirky n vibrant, Bombay Bronx has a ambiance and food inspired from the streets of Mumbai.
It’s elaborate bar serves a variety of indian imported spirits along with indian fusion cocktails.
The food menu is a mix of salads, kebabs, appetizers, slider, flat breads, mains and desserts.
The cuisine ranges from indian, european and asian.
They also have couple of local twisted street food favourites in their menu.
So here is what I had –
PANI PURI CAIPIROJKA –
Vodka based cocktail made with jal jeera/soda/lime and mint.
Extremely refreshing, strong but tantalizing !!
WATERMELON AND GOAT CHEESE –
Watermelon and goat cheese along with arugula leaves and walnuts dressed in a balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
A well made classic salad, the salty creamy goat cheese was balanced with cool watermelon and sour balsamic.
BAKED GOAT CHEESE CIGARS –
Phyllo cigar rolls stuffed with goat cheese/and finely chopped green chillies.
Served with thecha mayo.
The phyllo was crispy, goat cheese with green chillies tasted delicious.
OVEN BAKED SAMOSA –
Baked phyllo triangles stuffed with corn/cheese and spinach.
Served with gun powder mayo.
Can’t go wrong, corn and cheese is a fantastic combination.
Equally loved the accompanied spicy mayo.
CHETTINAD STYLE PRAWNS –
Prawns tossed with south indian spices along with green chillies/curry leaves and garlic.
The prawns were absolutely delicious, it was all about the freshness and the burst of flavour coming from the chettinad masala.
FLAT BREADS :-
QUATTRO FROMAGGIO –
Thin flat bread topped with four kinds of cheese/green chillies and roasted garlic.
Garnished with chopped basil leaves.
The flat bread was crispy, twist of green chillies and roasted garlic worked in its favour.
CHILLI MAGGI –
Maggi noodles tossed with onion capsicum and asian sauces.
Really nice, one could get a beautiful flavour of ginger-garlic and soya sauce from the slurry maggi.
CHICKEN BIRYANI –
Boneless chicken biryani with a beautiful flavour of kewda water, mint and whole indian spices.
Loved it !!
Overall, I had a wonderful time.
In spite of being modern, Bombay Bronx has a nostalgic mumbai charm to it…..
It’s diverse yet compact food menu has something for every palate.
