Delhi Heights is a all day Cafe located at Phoenix Mall, Mumbai.

It’s the brands second outlet in Mumbai but it has over twenty outlets in Delhi.

The cafe has a rustic decor with a brightly lit vibrant ambiance.

Their elaborate food menu is a mix of fusion world cuisine.

It includes beverages, breakfast favourites, soup, salads, appetizers, mains and desserts.

So here is what I had –

BEVERAGES :-

WATERMELON CELERY –
Cold pressed watermelon juice with pomegranate and celery.
The twist of celery really got the freshness in the juice, Refreshing !!

SOUP :-

HIMALAYAN THUPKA –
Chicken both soup with portobello mushrooms/shitake mushrooms/onion/capsicum and wheat noodles.
The twist of oyster sauce made it tantalizing but the earthy flavour of mushrooms was intact. Nice !

SALAD :-

MAFTOUL –
A greek salad made with quinoa/cous cous/sun dried tomatoes/feta cheese/lettuce and bell peppers, Dressed in a pomegranate lemon dressing.
Extremely healthy yet delicious.
The addition of wine soaked raisins worked beautifully, the salad was mildly sweet and sour.

APPETIZERS :-

PRAWNS & CALAMARI LIME REMIX –
Pan seared prawns and calamari, tossed and reduced in white wine with butter and garlic.
Extremely delicious, it was all about enjoying the natural flavour of seafood.

CHILLI CHICKEN WITH THAI HERBS –
Pan fried chicken chunks tossed with onion/capsicum/coconut milk/basil/ganangal/kaffir lime and holy basil.
The thai twist given to a regular chilli chicken was fabulous, basil and coconut milk worked beautifully.

BURGER :-

JUICY LUCY –
A oven grilled quarter pounder minced mutton patty stuffed with cheese and jalapenos.
Layered on a soft bun with red cabbage coleslaw/tomatoes and gherkins.
Served with home fries and salad.
This burger is a signature dish of cafe delhi heights, it huge and enough for two persons.
They even have a burger count and claim to have sold over two lac burgers.
Coming to it’s flavour, the minced mutton patty is mild and subtle where one gets to enjoy the real juicy meaty texture of the meat.
The burger is an experience in itself.

MAINS :-

MUSTARD FISH CURRY –
Betki fish curry made with grounded yellow mustard/onions and tomatoes.
Served with steamed rice and laccha onions.
A classic bengali preparation, well made, I loved the addition of finely chopped green chillies in the curry, it gave it a zing !

BUTTERED CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA –
Chicken tikka simmered in a buttery tomato gravy.
Served with laccha paratha, jalapenos biriyani, mint chutney and caper raita.
No cashew or cream was used in the makhani gravy, it was a pure flavour of butter, kashmiri red chillies and fenugreek leaves.
Really nice !

DESSERTS :-

HONEY WALNUT PIE –
Shortcrust pastry filled with honey/chocolate and walnuts.
Served with vanilla ice cream.
Extremely fresh and delicious, the mild cinnamon flavour cought my attention.

Overall, I had a wonderful time.
Cafe Delhi Heights is a cafe for all generations, their varied multi cuisine menu has something for everyone.

Food is delicious, quantity is huge and it’s food is made to suit the indian palate.
