Glocal Junction is a restaurant and bar located at Andheri, Mumbai.
The spacious restaurant has a industrial decor, multi level seating and a energetic ambiance.
It doubles up as a restaurant during the day and a high energy lounge at night.
It serves bar nibbles, salad, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, mains and desserts.
The cuisine is global with a desi twist.
Their fully stocked bar offers indian imported spirits and classic cocktails.
Glocal Junction is also known for it’s lavish sunday brunch, I happened to try it out !
The Sunday brunch offers a vide variety of fresh juices, soup, salads, freshly cut fruits, appetizers, pizza, pasta, shawarma, mains and desserts.
It also has four live cooking stations.
So here is what I had had –
I went with the fresh watermenon juice, chilled n refreshing !

Tried the mushroom soup which was nicely flavoured with black pepper.

I liked their muhammara, which is a hot pepper dip, tasted nice with crispy lavash.

I stuck to the healthy cous cous salad which was super fresh n zesty.

Tried their chicken shawarma which was warm pita bread rolled with chicken, lettuce and garlic mayo.

Tried all of them, I liked the chicken tenders with gun powder mayo and their peri peri spice mix coated chicken wings alot.
LIVE COOKING STATION :-
Tried fried egg with toast, spicy veg arrabiata pasta, chicken tikka grilled sandwich, chinese noodle dosa and sev puri from the chaat counter.
One can’t go wrong when food is prepared fresh in front of you…. I would definitely recommend their freshly made sandwiches. My chicken tikka sandwich was filled with juicy chicken and lots of cheese….loved it !

Could not try much of the main course as I was full but sampled their fish which was flavoured in a mild lemoney dil sauce and their chicken biryani with had a nice flavour of brown onions and whole spices.

Tried couple of the desserts, everything was made fresh, I liked their paan cheesecake which literally came in a paan leaf.
I also loved their simple vermicelli kheer, it had a nice cardamom flavour.
Overall, I had a great time !
Glocal Junction is a fantastic option for a Sunday Brunch !
Their preparations are fresh and made to suit the indian palate.
Good use of spices, bold flavour profile and enormous varity !
Service is attentive and cordial.
