The restaurant servers Latin American cuisine in a bright colourful ambiance.

It’s menu is divided into three sections, Costal South American, Mexican and Caribbean.

Each section has been given equal emphasis, it includes soup, salads, appetizers, mains and desserts.

So here is what I had –

MOCKTAIL :-

TAWNY PASSION –
Orange juice based mocktail with star anise and soda.
Citrucy mocktail with a strong punchy star anise flavor.

BEVERAGE :-

IRISH COFFEE –
Expresso coffee and irish whiskey topped with thick cream and ice. 
Illy coffee beans were used in the making.
Super strong, well balanced bitter sweet flavour !

SOUP :-

SHRIMP CHUPE –
Seafood broth soup with prawns/calamari/and chives along with a hint of sour cream.
Generous portion of seafood was used in the making, the broth had a fabulous garlic pepper flavour, onions gave a hint of sweetness. Superb !!
Must try !!

SALAD :-

SMOKED SALMON & KALE –
Kale/salmon/capers and raisins tossed in a pineapple vinaigrette dressing.
So fresh and flavourful, the smoked salmon tasted fantastic!
Must try !!

APPETIZERS :-

FISH TACOS –
Hard shell torlillas stuffed with batter fried fish/lettuce/tomato salsa and chipotle sauce.
Garnished with sour cream.
A well made mexican taco, fresh crunchy lettuce, crispy fish, tangy pico and creamy sour cream.

LOBSTER THERMIDOR –
Fresh lobster meat and mushrooms blended in creamy cheese sauce, topped with croutons/parmesan and cheddar cheese then baked to perfection.
Served with blanched garlic spinach.
Rich creamy peppery flavour, sweet lobster meat…. simply irresistible !!!
Must try !!

CRAB BACK –
Crab meat sauteed with tomatoes/onion/scallions and herbs, topped with bread crumbs and cheddar cheese then baked to perfection.
Tender crab meat with mild cheddar cheese flavour, Fantastic !!

MAINS :-

CARIBBEAN STYLE SHRIMP –
Prawns and kale simmered in a coconut milk curry with caribbean spices.
Served with green peas and black pepper rice.
A fantastic sour spicy curry with juicy prawns that had it’s natural sweetness intact !
A comforting main course dish, Must try !!

DESSERTS :-

TRES LECHES –
Vanilla sponge cake drenched in condensed milk.
Layered with whipped cream, topped with mangoes and berry compote.
Cool condensed milk, airy sponge cake with sweet mangoes….. Devine !

Overall, Luca is Fantastic !
It’s food is fresh and flavourful, it does complete justice to it’s name and origin.

Luca has maintained a perfect balance of flavours between authentic and modern.

The quality and freshness of seafood was one of the best i have eaten in recent times.

A must try for all hispanic food lovers 😉
