Hotel Deluxe is a Kerala Cuisine restaurant located at Fort.

The restaurant is divided into AC and Non AC section, it serves a variety of authentic keralite food along with north indian and chinese.

The restaurant is known for its “VEG SADHYAM”.

It’s basically a Vegetarian Kerala Thali (if i may call it) served on banana leaf.

It includes four types of veggies/sambar/rice/papad/pickle and rasam.

The food is simple yet extremely delicious!!

The veggies had lot of flavour and there was a good use of coconut and curry leaves.
It costed rs 150/- (including taxes ).
Worth every penny !!

For the Non vegetarians there are a lot of options in fish and chicken.

I tried the surmai masala fry, which was a deep fried fish fillet topped with thick onion tomato masala.

I also tried chicken 65, which was batter fried chicken tossed with curry leaves and dry red chillies with lots of garlic.

Both the dishes were nice, but the star of the evening was truly the veg sadhyam.

I loved it not for the pricing but for the simple flavours that ignited my taste buds…..
